Gunung Palung National Park - West Kalimantan journey of discovery

Cloaked in a gossamer wisps of cloud, Mount Palung rises above the brilliant flash of rice paddies. The oldest national park in Indonesia and famed for its magnificent remaining forests, its population of wild orangutans and other wildlife and stunning vistas, is open now for the adventurous visitor. We recommend 3 days there, climbing to a simple stilted hut for an experience of this untouched forest. All transportation from Ketapang and equipment hire can be arranged by us, including necessary permits and guides.
